Yoni Oil

I was talking to a friend the other day and I mentioned that I needed to make me some Yoni

Oil, and my friend was like, 🤷🏽‍♀️What is Yoni Oil? and How are you going to use it for?

This question leads me to think that there's so much to share with my friends/followers.

Yoni Oil is infused with herbs that are soothing, as well as calming to dry, tight skin. It's also known to banish bacteria or fungus that can grow in warm moist places.

What better time than now to visit this topic, we are in the Spring months moving into the Summer. We are more active during these months with working out, swimming, traveling etc., and if you're like me, wearing pantyhose to church or work can get really uncomfortable, if you know what I'm saying. 😉

As a woman, when we mature and start to become Peri-menopausal we can sometimes experience vaginal dryness, burning, itching or / and discomfort during sex. This is due to the declining estrogen levels we experience as we age.

Estrogen helps to maintain the fluids and keep the lining of the vagina healthy, thick and Pliable. As we lose the elasticity in our skin (vagina), it can become dry and tight resulting in a lot of discomfort and vaginal issues. Whether you are Peri - Menopausal, Menopausal or Post Menopausal, it's bound to happen and it's during one if not all of these times that most women complain of these symptoms and begin to look for relief.

Yoni Oil Blends can help boost the vaginal health by improving the skins elasticity and provide antioxidants that would protect amongst other vaginal concerns due to Vaginal Atrophy.

Vaginal Atrophy, is when the tissue of the vagina becomes thin and less stretchy. This happens slowly over the years, and the vaginal canal becomes narrow and shortened as less estrogen lowers the amount of vaginal fluids. It also changes the acid balance of the vagina making the risk for UTI's, and other infections a concern.

Although VA is most common for women of menopausal age, younger women who have a decrease in their estrogen levels are at risk as well. It's important to note that, women who have just given birth or are breastfeeding also experience a decline in the estrogen hormone. Other women to lookout for are those that have PCOS, who have had their ovaries removed, and sex with a partner whose semen is opposite of the vagina's acidic environment.

Signs and Symptoms of vaginal atrophy:

*Vaginal Dryness

*Burning and / or itching

*Pain during sexual intercourse

*Spotting or Bleeding

*Vaginal Discharge
